From the advance to the wrap.

Comms and RF for broadcast and live production, scoped to what the show actually needs. Bring us in for a day, a system, or the whole engagement.

01

On-Site RF & Comms Engineering

Frequency coordination, intercom, and A2 support on show day. Wireless mics, IEMs, IFBs, and beltpacks in dense RF environments.

The core of the work. We arrive with a frequency plan and a matrix layout, then make both survive the venue: scanning the room, coordinating with every other RF user on site, patching and labelling the rack, and rolling out beltpacks that are checked before the first crew call. During the show we sit on the spectrum and the intercom, and fix things quietly.

Included

  • Frequency coordination and on-site spectrum scans
  • Wireless mic, IEM, and IFB deployment
  • Intercom matrix programming and beltpack rollout
  • RF-over-fiber and multizone antenna distribution
  • A2 and audio guarantee support
  • Show-day monitoring and troubleshooting

Typical systems

  • Riedel Artist
  • Riedel Bolero
  • RTS ADAM / ODIN
  • Clear-Com Eclipse HX
  • FreeSpeak II
  • FreeSpeak Edge

Design & Technical Project Management

Lead the comms and RF side of a production from first drawing to load-out: design, logistics, crew, and integration.

The show is won in the advance. We take ownership of the comms and RF scope: system design, equipment lists, crew planning, vendor and client communication, and the cross-vendor integration that makes a Riedel frame, an RTS matrix, and a Clear-Com beltpack system behave like one. Our lead engineer spent nine years running exactly these projects for a national wireless systems provider before founding RF Show Tech.

Included

  • System design and matrix configuration
  • Equipment lists, logistics, and prep
  • Crew planning and lead roles
  • Client and vendor communication
  • Cross-vendor intercom integration
  • On-site execution and handoff

Typical systems

  • Riedel
  • RTS
  • Clear-Com
  • Dante / AES67
  • Shure / Sennheiser wireless

03

Remote Comms & Multi-Site Integration

REMI and distributed productions: link intercom systems across sites over IP, monitor RF remotely, and keep every room on the same page.

More shows are produced from more than one room. We design and support the comms layer that holds them together: intercom trunking between sites over IP, Dante and AES67 audio networks, and remote monitoring so a problem in the venue is visible from the control room, or from our desk.

Included

  • Multi-site intercom trunking over IP
  • REMI and at-home production comms support
  • Remote frequency monitoring
  • Dante / AES67 network design and management
  • Remote configuration and on-call support

Typical systems

  • Riedel Artist
  • RTS ODIN
  • Clear-Com Eclipse HX
  • Dante
  • AES67

Strategic Technical Consulting

Show-specific advice before the gear ships: specs, workflow, and RF plans that survive contact with the venue.

For venues, production companies, and teams building out their own comms and RF capability. Vendor-neutral recommendations on what to buy, how to deploy it, and how to run it, with documentation your crew can actually use.

Included

  • Equipment specification and purchasing guidance
  • RF system design for venues and tours
  • Comms plan and workflow reviews
  • Vendor-neutral recommendations
  • Training and documentation

Typical systems

  • Riedel
  • RTS
  • Clear-Com
  • Dante / AES67
  • RF-over-fiber

Not sure which one you need?
